This March we’re asking the Great British public to put their best foot forward to help us meet the staggering 143% increase in demand over the last 10 years for our specialist mental health services.

To fund the growing demand, we’re launching a brand new challenge, March in March.

Join #TeamCombatStress and run, walk or jog 10 miles on any day in March.

SKU: marchinmarch-2019 Category:

In the last 10 years we’ve seen a staggering 143% increase in former servicemen and women seeking our help for trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. By taking part in a 10-mile walk on any day during the month of March, you can help ensure we can continue delivering our life-changing treatment to veterans across the country.

How and where you complete the challenge is completely up to you, which means the event can be adjusted to your own personal challenge – walk ten miles in one day, beat your personal best by running 10 miles as fast as possible or do it indoors on a treadmill.

Great event, allowed me to explore London and get fit- all for a great cause!

My boys – and my dog, Bosco – are going to love doing this. I think my route might be along the Thames into Marlow and back, or the other way to Henley. Anyway, it’s a great cause and a great idea – and a smart medal for the nippers!

Looking forward to a walk along the Dudley No1 Canal. I used to cycle the canals with my Dad every Sunday. It’ll be so nice to do this with my Mom and raise money for such an important cause. Definitely a good use of my annual leave!

I am hoping to start at the house where I was born, walk passed my next home (where my mum and dad still live) then do a section of the London loop before walking to Purley (past my 3rd home) before ending at my 4th (and current home). Shows I haven’t moved about much but it is about 11 miles.
